Use gloves when handling dry or prepared (moist) dialysis tubing

Use molecular weight cut off 6000-8000 for TnC, 12000-14000 for TnI and TnT

Prepare 1500 ml 2%w/v sodium bicarbonate, 1mM EDTA (30 g sodium bicarb, 3 ml 0.5M EDTA pH8)

Boil pieces of tubing for 10 minutes

Drain and rinse in dd water

Boil for 10 minutes in 1mM EDTA (3ml 0.5M EDTA in 1500 ml)

Let cool and store in refrigerator-cover beaker with Saran Wrap

Rinse well with ddH₂O before using
